Spring Fling Scavanger Hunt
The Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt is hosted by the Downtown Inverness Business Partners and runs from March 1 through April 30. The contest is open to individuals who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary to participate. To enter, participants must pick up an official passport card from any participating Downtown Inverness business during the contest period.
Participants must visit participating businesses and locate the designated “Contest Bunny” (which may be displayed inside or outside the business). At each location, participants must have their passport card marked or validated by the business. Participants are also encouraged to take a photo/selfie with the Contest Bunny and share it on social media, tagging both the participating business and the Downtown Inverness Business Partners when possible.
Completed passport cards must be submitted by April 30 at one of the designated drop-off locations listed on the card. Only one completed passport card per person will be accepted. Illegible, incomplete, damaged, or late submissions will not be eligible. Participants do not need to be present to win.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries to receive a local gift basket valued at over $500. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The winner will be notified using the contact information provided on the passport card and must respond within the timeframe specified or an alternate winner may be selected.
The prize cannot be shipped and must be picked up in person by the winner or by a person designated by the winner who is 21 years of age or older.
By entering, participants grant permission for the Downtown Inverness Business Partners and participating businesses to use submitted photos, names, and likenesses for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
Participation in this contest constitutes acceptance of these official rules and all decisions made by the Downtown Inverness Business Partners, which are final. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform.
